With Georgia’s voter registration deadline just one week away, Democrats and Republicans are executing sharply contrasting campaign playbooks amid an unusual divide at the top of the ticket.

Democrats are leaning into an aggressive grassroots ground game across 29 field offices statewide, attempting to overcome more than $80 million in Republican television advertising in the races for governor and the U.S. Senate.

The mobilization comes as a new InsiderAdvantage poll reveals a rare split-ticket dynamic among Georgia voters.

In the governor’s race, Republican Rick Jackson holds a narrow lead over Democrat Keisha Lance Bottoms, 48% to 46%, with 6% undecided — a statistical tie within the survey’s 3-point margin of error.
