City of LaGrange and Former City Council Member Receive Recognition for Litter Prevention Initiative

The City of LaGrange has received a great recognition from the Keep Georgia Beautiful Foundation (KGBF). The foundation plans to present the City of LaGrange with the Clean Community Champion Award after their efforts shown in their anti-litter campaign, “Leaving LaGrange Better Than We Found It.”

During the campaign in April 2018, the city shut down for half a day, resulting in hundreds of employees picking up litter throughout LaGrange, according to officials.
