Atlanta Airport Warns of 'Longer Than Usual Wait Times' Due to Staffing Shortages

After so far mostly seeing muted effects from the ongoing government shutdown, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Monday issued a warning that passengers may start seeing "longer than usual wait times at security checkpoints," citing staffing shortages.
The notice was posted a little before 10 a.m. Social media posts earlier in the morning showed extensive lines at the airport.
