AGC Georgia Names Blake Stalnaker Young Leadership Program Member of the Year

The Associated General Contractors of Georgia (AGC Georgia), the leading association for the construction industry, is honored to name Blake Stalnaker, Project Manager at Sheridan Construction, as the Young Leadership Program (YLP) Member of the Year. 

Recently presented at AGC Georgia's Annual Convention, this recognition honors one member of the award-winning YLP for their exceptional contributions to the program’s key objectives.

"I am honored to receive this recognition and grateful for the opportunities AGC Georgia has provided. The YLP has been a cornerstone of my professional development, and I look forward to continuing to contribute to its success," said Blake Stalnaker.

The YLP is a group of professionals in construction and related service industries under the age of 40 who are committed to the core pillars of charitable works, leadership development, and networking. The group has 20 dedicated individuals serving on its Council and more than 181 members in the program.

“Blake’s steady commitment, strong leadership, and deep involvement in the YLP community highlight the qualities of both a trusted friend and an outstanding leader,” said AGC Georgia CEO Mike Dunham. “His impact has significantly enhanced the YLP experience for its members, and this recognition is well earned.”

Stalnaker’s involvement in the YLP reflects his strong dedication to the program’s core pillars. Since becoming a member in 2018 and joining the YLP Council in 2020, he has consistently exceeded expectations in his efforts to support and strengthen the YLP community.

Blake Stalnaker has emerged as a respected leader within the industry, earning recognition for his steady conviction and commitment to positive change. As one of his peers on the YLP Council noted, Stalnaker is not known for seeking the spotlight but instead leads through quiet resolve and consistent action. Throughout recent challenges facing the industry, he remained a calm and dependable presence, always prioritizing integrity and the collective good. His leadership has played a key role in the success of the Young Leadership Program and continued growth of the program in the Macon/Central Georgia Region.
