West Point Dam Celebrates 50 Years Of Service With Public Event In June

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, is preparing to celebrate a major milestone: the 50th anniversary of the dedication of West Point Dam and Powerhouse.
Originally completed and dedicated in 1975, the West Point Project has served the region for five decades through flood risk management, hydropower production, recreation, and water quality improvements.
