Tuesday, August 6th, 2024
The Georgia gas price average declined at the pumps compared to a week ago. Georgians are paying an average price of $3.28 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline (subject to change overnight). Monday's state average is 5 cents less than a week ago,4 cents less than a month ago, and 38 cents less than this time last year. “Georgia drivers continue to see relief at the pumps despite a possible storm approaching,” said Montrae Waiters, AAA-The Auto Club Group spokeswoman. “Gas prices may ebb and flow until we get beyond hurricane season and its threats to Gulf Coast oil and gas production and refining.”
