Colony Bank today announced the addition of Josh F. Dasher as Vice President, Information Security Officer and Vendor Management. 

Dasher brings over seven years of experience in managing information technology for the banking industry, most recently serving as Vice President of Information Technology at Glennville Bank. Prior experience includes increasingly senior roles in Higher Education with an expertise in Financial Aid. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Brewton Parker College and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Strayer University. He is also a 2017 graduate of the Georgia Banking School.

Commenting on the announcement, Amanda Diehl, Director of Internal Audit, said, "Josh will make an excellent addition to our team and we welcome him to Colony Bank. His deep knowledge of banking industry technology will be invaluable as we continue to grow and as our customers increase their adoption of new banking technologies. His long record of teamwork and service complements our company culture of working together to serve our community."

Dasher and his wife Leah have two daughters, Josilynn and Addisyn, and attend First Baptist Church in Lyons, GA, where he serves as a Deacon. He holds a State of Georgia Registered Volunteer Firefighter Certification and the National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications Firefighter I designation. Dasher served as a volunteer firefighter for 12 years, including as Assistant Fire Chief for Marvin Yancey Volunteer Fire Department. In his free time, he enjoys hunting and fishing on the Altamaha River and runs a Longleaf Pine farm with his wife.
