Colony Bank today announced that Ben Keller has been promoted to Vice President, Commercial Banker for its LaGrange, Georgia, market. Keller will report to Mike Speight, LaGrange Market President.

 

Keller joined Colony Bank in Columbus, Georgia, in 2019 as a commercial lender. Prior to joining Colony Bank, he served as a portfolio manager with Calumet Bank in LaGrange and as a commercial lender with Charter Bank in Newnan. His diverse background provides him with expertise in his primary focus of home builder finance.

 

Commenting on the announcement, Mike Speight, LaGrange Market President of Colony Bankcorp, said, “Having worked with Ben in the past, I am excited to welcome him to our talented team serving the LaGrange market. Ben has been very active in local real estate markets and has built an extensive network that includes Meriwether, Coweta, Harris, Muscogee and Troup counties. His network and experience will be particularly beneficial to customers in Troup County as he focuses on growing his contact base to include commercial warehousing, industrial construction, and home builders. We look forward to Ben’s contributions to meeting our LaGrange customers’ needs efficiently and effectively in this expanding market.”

 

Keller received a business management degree in 2002 from LaGrange College. Keller has two children, Sarah Kate and Neil. In his spare time, Keller enjoys athletics, including golf and cross fit.
