Commenting on the announcement, John E. Roberts, Regional Market President, said, "I want to first thank Mike Speight for his service to Colony Bank. He was a key member of the team that led the Calumet Bank acquisition, and we appreciate his many contributions during his tenure at Colony Bank."
Roberts continued, "We are very pleased to promote Joe to Market President. Joe brings over fifteen years of banking experience, a commitment to building long-term relationships, and a deep knowledge of banking products, all of which will benefit our customers and help them reach their goals. Joe's promotion recognizes his dedication to our company and customers. His record of business achievement and civic involvement exemplify the best attributes of our community banking team."
