HUD Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Grants Announced

Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Grants support those communities that have undergone a comprehensive local planning process and are ready to implement their plan to redevelop the distressed public and/or assisted housing and neighborhood.

Applications must present a plan to revitalize a severely distressed public and/or HUD-assisted multifamily housing project located in a distressed neighborhood into a viable, mixed-income community.

FY22 Implementation Grants NOFO

Eligibility: The Lead Applicant must be a Public Housing Agency (PHA), a local government, or a tribal entity.

Match: In accordance with Section 24(c)(1)(A) of the 1937 Act (42 U.S.C. 1437v(c)(1)(A)), matching funds in the amount of at least five percent of the grant amount in cash or in-kind donations must be secured and used by the end of the grant term.
